While looking at the shadows created by the clocks I decided to do a series of large abstract paintings of the shadows cast. To do these paintings I used a torch to project the shadows onto to a wall. then I used paint, similar to the colours that the shadows appeared in the photos i had taken, to paint either the shadows cast of the negative space around the shadows.

I really like the way these paintings turned out. I am going to continue working like this but looking at different sections of the clock and using different colours.
